In this tutorial we want to show you how to set up your properties and start renting as fast as possible, so we'll only explain to you the essentials to set up your business. For a more complete explanation of each tab, please check the rest of the videos/tutorials.

GETTING STARTED AND BASE REQUIREMENTS:

This app is for you if...

• You want to start your own property rental business
• If you already have a property or space that you can rent
• You already have a Shopify store set up.
• You want to stop having to rely on Booking and Airbnb for property renting.

What does this app do?...

• It connect the products you want to the app, so you can offer them as properties or spaces.
• Transform your store so that it has an interface very similar to that seen in Booking, to rent spaces
• It allows you to create your own rates and offers
• It allows you to create and manage reservations from the app, and organize using a calendar.
• It allows you to offer extras with your rental service

GET READY TO RENT

Add a property/Product 

• Add a product that you want to sell as property.

• The essential info that you must include here is the product's title, the description and its images.

• The price that you put in "Pricing" shall be the base price you want to offer for this property. (It will read "Starting from [your base price]€") 

• Also remember to uncheck the track quantity box so it doesn't show “out of stock” 

Linking Properties (Fetch)

• After creating your product/property, go to "BookE Tool" => "Shopify Products Tab" 

• Click on fetch. You’ll see all of your products. Click the “Link” button on the products that you want to define as properties. You can also use the boxes to select many products and do a bulk selection. IMPORTANT: Remember that in the free plan, you can only have 2 properties linked.

• In the Properties tab, you’ll see all your linked properties. Remember that if you want to add new properties or update an existing one, you’ll have to fetch them again.
  

Creating a Renting Space and a rate price  

Now we’ll show you how to create a renting space and set a rate price.

• Go to "Properties" Click on the property you want to manage.

• You’ll be able to set up the general information and settings of your property, like: Property Setting, Property Reservation Info, Property Location Info. (In property location, make sure to use the link available to define the latitude & longitude where your property is placed)

• Go to Rent Details. Here you’ll be able to manage your spaces for renting, set rate prices, add pictures and add extras.

• To create a space just click on the “Create Space” button. Here you’ll have to define some settings.

• First you shall define the general settings of the space, like its name, max capacity, availability for children and to put in image. 

• Next you’ll have to add a rate for the space in rate settings. You’ll have to define the rate type, the rate price, and quantity. (BookE already has some "Rate Types" by default that you can use.

• Finally, you can add some extra services. You can see how to create extra services in our “Properties Tab” video.

View Property in Store.

1. • Once you are done with the set-up, you can check your property in your store.

   • Go to "View your online store"

   • Click on the linked property and you’ll be able to see the image, the renting menu, information about the property and the availability calendar.

   • From here you can complete the checkout process as normal.
