Prestashop → Amazon sync, an invaluable feature tailored to seamlessly synchronize your handpicked offers from Prestashop directly to Amazon. This dynamic tool ensures that essential aspects such as product price, stock quantity, relationships, images, and shipping templates are harmonized to match the records within Amazon.
Please take note: To maximize the efficiency of Prestashop Sync, it's imperative that the products you intend to synchronize from Prestashop to Amazon are pre-existing within your Amazon inventory. Moreover, both the SKU number in Amazon and the corresponding reference number in Prestashop must impeccably match. Any discrepancy in these reference numbers or the absence of a product in your Amazon lineup will hinder the proper functioning of the Prestashop Sync feature.
See below for detailed instructions on how to activate and setup this feature:
1. The Prestashop Sync layout
1.1. Show all products
Control the result of the product list based on the Filters.
Example
In the Filters, you only enable 2 products.
When the setting is turn off, only products that have Prestashop Sync
enabled in Filters tabs are displayed.
When the setting is turn on, show all products, regardless statuses in Filters tabs.
Note
- All the
Prestashop Sync
statuses in 4 filters tabs are taken into account. - The products that have
Prestashop Sync
enabled in these filters tabs are eligible for automatically updating by scheduler, details in section 3.3. Update product data to Amazon by using scheduler.
2. Which to sync
You choose which data to send to Amazon, only affects the Update action in section 3 below.
- Price: Tax including or tax excluding.
- Stock / inventory / quantity.
- Images:
- Make white background: Using this feature, the module automatically wipes out the background of the product's cover image, making it an eligible main image, as of Amazon requirements. (This is premium feature, with higher plan, you have the higher usage limit).
- Product data: Contains the Shipping Templates in module configuration.
- Product relationship: Always sent if your product has variations (parent - child).
3. The product list
Each product has some associated actions:
- Click in the row to go to the native Prestashop Product Details page.
- Create: Create Prestashop product to your Amazon Seller account. Refer our creation tutorial for detailed instruction.
- Update: Send updated data from Prestashop to Amazon. The data are what you decided in section 2. Which to sync. Refer the detailed instruction below.
3.1. Update product data to Amazon
After click the Update action, a successful message appears, which contains the number of products and feeds sent.
Use bulk action to send many products at once.
3.2. View the updating results
For more insight, check the Activity Logs > Summaries page for your last updating action. In there, you can also download and view the content of the feeds that have just been sent.
Amazon will take some time to process your feeds. When done, it's possible to download the feed results as well in the same page.
The module automatically acknowledges the done status, and makes the feed results available for you.
Download the feeds to check the results.
Or much easier, go to Activity Logs > Feeds to see the number of successful / warning / error message in the feeds.
3.3. Update product data to Amazon by using scheduler
Practically, you rely on the scheduler to update product data automatically, especially the price and stock.
Periodically, the scheduler collects all products that have had changes since the last run AND are eligible as of configured in Filters tabs. Then, send their data to Amazon.
Embark on a hassle-free journey to synchronize your products from Prestashop to Amazon using the straightforward setting in module configuration page. You are freely to choose which to sync by scheduler, too.
Summary
With Prestashop Sync at your disposal, seamlessly integrating your Prestashop offerings into the Amazon platform becomes an effortless endeavor.
