Answer: Yes. For FBM (MFN) orders imported into Shopify, ToolE is designed so you can manage day-to-day fulfillment from Shopify without needing to update Amazon Seller Central manually. When you fulfill the order in Shopify (including carrier and tracking), ToolE sends the shipping confirmation + tracking back to Amazon and Seller Central is typically updated within a few minutes.
How the sync flow works (end-to-end)
1) Shopify Import
The Amazon order is imported into Shopify.
2) Shopify Fulfillment (you/your 3PL)
You fulfill the order in Shopify Admin as you normally would.
Important: Fulfill promptly to avoid late-shipping impacts on your Amazon account.
What happens in Shopify when you fulfill
Shopify deducts inventory based on the order quantity (standard Shopify behavior).
3) Seller Central Update (shipping confirmation + tracking)
After the order is marked fulfilled (and the fulfillment data is captured), ToolE pushes the update to Amazon.
Timing: You should see the update reflected in Seller Central within a few minutes. Processing can take about 3–5 minutes.
Result
Amazon receives the shipping confirmation and tracking details.
The Amazon buyer receives Amazon’s normal shipment notification email.
4) Order Movement in ToolE
Once fulfilled, the order moves to the Closed tab in the app’s Orders section.
Key expectations / common questions
Do we still need to go into Amazon Seller Central to confirm shipments?
Usually no, ToolE is meant to remove that step for FBM day-to-day operations, as long as you fulfill and enter tracking in Shopify.
Does this apply to FBA orders too?
This workflow is primarily relevant to FBM. FBA shipments are fulfilled by Amazon, so shipping confirmation/tracking behavior differs.
